Iroko timber trims and red linoleum work surfaces.
The furniture piece was to stand in the foyer of the software developer.
It must look good as a stand alone piece when not in use.
There to be minimal visible supports.
The doors must not impede human traffic through the foyer - i.e. they must fold out of the way.
The storage underneath should be unimpeded by vertical support panels.

The complete unit was modeled in 3D in Vectorworks.
The individual parts were then exported to a CNC machine for cutting or output for fabrication plans.
