The old cottage was raised up and supported on new steel posts and built in under. Downstairs a new bathroom, guest bedroom, storeroom and reading room with a connecting staircase to the upper floor and double french door access  to the rear patio. A double story rear deck allowed external access from all floors.The upper floor contained a new kitchen, main bathroom, master bedroom with ensuite, dining room, lounge room and guest bedroom. Screened decks on two sides provided private outdoor living spaces. A swimming pool in the rear  garden with paved entertainment area with gazebo completed the developement.
