The flying oblique spiral concrete staircase!

........ a bit of construction art.

The room on the front of the house was especially built just for the staircase as a "grand entry".

The staircase had a throat dimension of less than 100mm and used no supports on the inside curve line.

All components modelled in Vectorworks and exported via dxf for metal fabrication.

Unique structure possible by using then risers as supporting modules.

A massive amount of refurbishment and structural alteration carried out at the rear of the premises creating a more "open plan" style with views and access to rear gardens.
