An exploratory adventure was had with this project!
The engineering requirements of the work required a survey of the existing foundations. It was discovered that the building was built on the rubble of a school that existed previously on the site andwas bombed out during WW2.
No stability was found to a depth of 3 metres.
Since we dug the holes we decided to utilize the space rather than refill them. As a consequence the larger of them became an underground drum room / storage space and the other two smaller ones became guitar isolation booths / storage spaces and the project continued with the "raft slab" concept.

The complete project was modeled in3d Vectorworks greatly enhancing the ease of the set out (via cartesian coordinates laid out on the floor) for the geometric complexity of the floor plan.

All details drawn in CAD and exported via DXF to CNC programs for fabrication where relevant.
