The complete room was first modelled in Vectorworks 3D and each wall panel plan exported for fabriaction off site.
In order to maximize the use of available space this room had a trapezoid shaped base with three out of four walls sloping internally.
The roof was triple layered fire proof plasterboard with broad band absorbers mounted above the lower dropped ceiling.
The floor was mounted on isolation pads and consisted of paving slabs sandwiched between chipboard sheeting.
The walls were OSB sheeting with rockwool filled core inserted between metal profiles. The inside and outside were hten sheeted with plasterboard for increased isolation and a decorative finish.
